Chicago Booth Impact Investing Panel Discussion |
In January, we had an incredible morning immersed in an engaging panel discussion on “Impact Investing: Aligning Profit and Purpose to Change the World” alongside a group of brilliant minds.
Our Chair, Josephine Price, was invited to a panel discussion moderated by Brian Tsui, joining Cintia Nunes and Priya Parrish for a dynamic conversation on impact investing. Over 120 attendees participated in this insightful breakfast session, which featured a rich dialogue on the global and regional landscape of impact investing, offering strategies to leverage opportunities and navigate challenges in this rapidly evolving field.
Josephine highlighted Hong Kong's unique landscape, emphasizing the city’s specific needs and untapped opportunities to amplify social impact. She also discussed the challenges that social purpose organizations (SPOs) face in balancing daily operations and impact delivery, suggesting that funders should minimize administrative burdens by requesting only essential data for reporting. In addition, Josephine mentioned that funders new to impact investing might consider partnering with established funds to help oversee projects while learning through collaboration.
A heartfelt thank you to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Programme on Social Innovation operated by The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and HKU iCube, for hosting this inspiring breakfast event. Special thanks to Kalmond Ma from Chicago Booth for the kind invitation and for facilitating such a meaningful conversation.

Founders Club New Year Lunch Gathering |
We recently kicked off the new year with a special Founders’ Club gathering over lunch, bringing together leaders from our SPO community. Our goal is to foster a supportive network where leaders—at various stages of scaling their organizations—can openly share experiences, exchange insights, and explore opportunities for collaboration to multiply their impact.
It was inspiring to see our SPO leaders engage in candid discussions about their challenges and successes, learning from one another in the process. This is just the beginning—more events are on the way to strengthen our community and drive positive growth throughout the year!

Snaildy Inclusive Carnival |
Hong Kong currently has around 64,220 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), a 40% increase in five years, reflecting the growing demand for SEN resources. However, many SEN families still face challenges accessing support, and public awareness remains limited.
To promote understanding of SEN and persons with disabilities, Snaildy Education will co-host the Snaildy Inclusive Carnival with the Tsuen Wan District Council and Tsuen Wan Hoi Bun Care Team. The event, officiated by Secretary for Labour and Welfare Mr. Chris Sun Yuk-han, aims to raise awareness of SEN needs and abilities while focusing on employment challenges and support for SEN youth.
The carnival will take place on March 2, 2025, at Tsuen Wan Park, with the opening ceremony at 11:00 AM and the event running from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
